Gassan Khuntan Golf and Resort
The Gassan Khuntan Golf and Resort is located in the Khuntan National Park in Northern Thailand, at a cool(ish) 500 meters above sea level.
The lush surrounding mountain ranges are very scenic, arguably on of the most mysterious landscapes in Thailand, enhanced by one of Thailand's longest railway tunnels and an impressive railway bridge.
The design of the course can be characterized as hazardous, with water, grass bunkers, sharp doglegs and isand greens.
The considerable distance from Chiang Mai makes the course relatively quiet, especially on weekdays.
Gassan Khuntan has a fully featured club house with a good restaurant, a driving range with putting and chipping green and a well-stocked pro shop.
