Dining Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is full of great restaurants, and it's full of crappy restaurants. As with most things in Thailand, the façade is usually o.k., even appealing. But there might be something sinister lurking in the kitchen that will be served on your plate. The author has very thorough and detailed reviews of many restaurants in Chiang Mai. Much better than the very questionable Tripadvisor reviews complaining they don't get authentic Sauerkraut in Northern Thailand or the waitress didn't understand their Cockney accents (be sure to prepend www to the URL of this site, the plan diningchiangmai.com won't work). UPDATE: Sadly, diningchiangmai.com is now defunct.
Chiang Mai Locator
A large business directory with maps, contact info and short reviews of businesses in Chiang Mai. No worries, we'll soon have an even better Chiang Mai Business Directory here, featuring mini-panoramas.
Golden Triangle Rider
The original motorcycling exchange and forum for Northern Thailand and beyond. The forum is busy and the pics are hot.
Ride Asia
Motorcycling forum covering Asia and especially Thailand from a base in Chiang Mai. There are some inspiring and inspired reports of tours into neighboring countries, especially the up-and-coming journeys far into China.
