Suan Bua Resort 2012
The Suan Bua Resort is located in the Samoeng Valley, next to American Pacific International School (this school may have changed its name since). The resort really is a special place, built in the Thailand boom of the nineties with loads of money. It's beautiful with many teak fittings and carvings, such splendor would be unaffordable today. The resort is fully staffed but quite underutilized, due to its distance from Chiang Mai (about 50 km/30 miles or so). It's therefore great for conferences, as you'll really all be away from it all with no outside entertainment options.
