Wat Lok Moli Chiang Mai in February 2014 Panorama Preview

Wat Lok Moli has been called "topknot" of the world as it sits north of the northern moat, and in addition has a north-south orientation, which is very unusual for Buddhist temples that are usually oriented towards the east. The temple has recently undergone some renovations that are quite tasteful and leave the original atmosphere very much in tact. Untouched is also the bare chedi that is over 650 years old and one of the most impressive structures in Chiang Mai.
